We finally bought our tickets for our trip to.......France. I know what youre thinking. France, come on! Some have said, "shouldn't you guys be working?" Others have said, "Why France?" Well this trip is going to be two fold. First our visas expire and we have to renew them by spending a couple of nights out of the country. The second is our b-days are this next month so this trip has been named "Renew our visas, happy Bday, Ramadan is over, we don't know French Trip." This is also our lame attempt to say that there may be little activity on the blog til we get back. Then you all will have tons of pics and stories to check out.

I went to France and didn't know French, either. I learned "thank you" (merci) very quickly. I probably should have learned "I'm sorry I'm an American tourist who took Spanish in school instead of French," but I didn't have the time. Or the inclination. You'll be fine. Are you going to Paris? Julie is always talking about the Eiffel Towel. Yes, that says towel. Have fun, eat some snails and frog legs and take lots of pictures!

So happy to read your blog and find out what you've been doing while in No. Africa. Just to let you know....Paris, France has Starbucks, and they are just the same as in the states...good. You can also purchase some really tasty pastries there too.
